I have a book about the history of Mardi Gras and one depicting the scenery of New Orleans through pictures:

This includes homes, restaurants, hotels, and local attractions such as the St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square. There are also pictures of scenery along the Mississippi River and Lakefront. In addition, there are photos of Mardi Gras parades and local festivals.
