   I have a book here about the history of Mardi Gras, a book depicting the scenery of New Orleans through pictures, and a book about New Orleans and the JFK Assassination:

A unique picture book depicting the history of Mardi Gras, with more than 160 photos and drawings of parades, balls, and revelers in costume. There are also portraits of early kings and queens. Comus, Rex, and Bacchus parades are shown, as well as 19th century drawings of Momus floats and a photo of a float in the 1974 Endymion parade (largest in New Orleans).

A book with many colored photos of buildings and scenery in the French Quarter, Uptown, and Mid-City. 
This includes homes, restaurants, hotels, and local attractions such as the St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square. There are also pictures of scenery along the Mississippi River and Lakefront. In addition, there are photos of Mardi Gras parades and local festivals.
